This Fall I'm going to be hosting a few one-day cooking workshops here in the New York City area. The first of these is a Thanksgiving 101 cooking course. This one-day workshop will be held on Saturday, November 5th at a professional kitchen space in midtown Manhattan.
In this class I'll be covering everything Thanksgiving, from appetizers to dessert (including roasting the turkey and those oh-so-important sides), along with teaching techniques for planning a menu, timing, and scheduling your cooking so that the big day is as effortless and worry-free as possible.
In this six-hour hands-on class we'll be preparing a full Thanksgiving menu featuring recipes such as Smokey Citrus Rubbed Roast Turkey with Apricot Glaze, Sausage and Cranberry Stuffed Mushrooms, Spiced Cranberry Orange Sauce, Cornbread Chorizo Stuffing, and more!
Once the meal is done, we'll be sitting down to enjoy the incredible dishes we made. You'll end the day with 12 new Thanksgiving recipes, valuable kitchen skills, a shopping list for all the recipes we made in class, a schedule to help you plan the week before the holiday, storage and recipe ideas for those leftovers.
It will be an intense, but super fun day, and you'll leave class with the confidence to tackle Thanksgiving Day no matter how big or small.
