We'll be staying at Good Commons, my favorite retreat house in Vermont, where you'll have your choice of accommodations. Choose the cozy shared sleep loft for a grown-up summer camp feel, or opt for a private or shared bedroom option.
All meals, snacks, workshops, demos, and excursions are included (and we'll take consideration of any dietary restrictions or allergies you may have so you can relax and just enjoy great food!).
You'll also have plenty of time to lay out in the sun, go for a hike or bike ride, or shop in the local village.

Shared Loft: It's like grown-up summer camp! You'll have one of nine single beds located in a beautiful and cozy loft. Enjoy all the same amenities and activities at a bargain price! (Please note that the loft is for women only.) $585 per person
Shared Double: Share a beautifully decorated room with just one other retreat attendee. You can choose your own roommate, or we can pair you up. $697 per person
Deluxe Double with Steam Shower: This bedroom option includes a large and luxurious en suite steam shower which will be shared with just one other bedroom. $745 per person
Private Bedroom: Opt for a little more privacy with your own bedroom. $1100 per person

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What time does the bus leave?
The bus leaves NYC on Thursday at 6PM from midtown Manhattan and leaves Vermont on Sunday around 1PM. The trip is about 5 hours, depending on traffic. We'll make one stop along the way. A dinner with cocktails & wine will be provided on board the bus on Thursday evening.
2. I'm gluten-free/vegetarian/paleo. Will I be able to eat?
Yes, we'll take all your dietary restrictions and allergies into consideration and make sure there is plenty for you to enjoy at mealtimes. We have experience cooking for all dietary needs. Please note that if you have very severe allergies where cross-contamination is a concern, you should contact us first to make sure we can accommodate you safely.
3. Who can attend this retreat?
This retreat is open to everyone: male + female. While the majority of the attendees will be adults, older teens and mature young adults with an interest in food are welcome to attend in the company of at least one parent or adult guardian.
4. How Many People Sleep in the Loft?
The loft can sleep up to 9 people (female only), though exact numbers will be determined by how many people sign up. Each person will have their own cozy single bed with plush mattresses and soft linens.
5. Do I have to stay at Good Commons to participate in the retreat?
We have a Day Pass option ($315) available for those who live in the area or wish to stay at a separate location. This includes access to all meals and activities on Friday and Saturday, with the option to join in for the final brunch on Sunday.
6. Is there a discount available if I'm traveling from elsewhere or want to drive?
Those who provide their own transportation are eligible for a $50 per person discount. Just let us know and we'll adjust your rate accordingly!
7. Are there private bathrooms available?
All the bathrooms in the house are shared (there are a total of 6). If you'd like to share a bathroom with only one other bedroom, select the Deluxe Bedroom option, which has an en suite bathroom with steam shower.
8. Is there WiFi or cell phone service?
There is free WiFi available throughout the house and in all the bedrooms. Cell phone service is limited at the house, but there is a free house phone available for your use.
9. Does the house have air conditioning?
Yes, there is AC throughout the house.
10. Do I have to bring my own towels/toiletries/etc.?
All towels, washcloths, and bed linens will be provided. Beach towels will also be available for use by the hot tub or if you choose to go to the lake. Bathrooms are equipped with locally-made organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and body scrubs (which are also available for purchase!). A washer & dryer is also available.
