Hey lovely readers!

Want to satisfy your sweet tooth for a good cause?

Join me on Sunday, April 21, 2013, 3:00-5:30 p.m., at The Old Bowery Station, when local bakers and food bloggers (including me!) will be sharing our sweets as a way of raising funds to support scholarships and programs for at-risk students in the Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP).

Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) is a national not-for-profit, headquartered in New York City, that provides scholarships, education, and career opportunities in the culinary arts.

I'm going to be making a springtime version of my famous Italian Rainbow Cookies--this kind filled with raspberry and lemon curd, and topped with white chocolate. So good! So addictive!

The $39 tickets will give you access to tasting treats and sweets from all the bloggers and bakers, including:
(And me, of course!)
Guests at the event will also get to enjoy dessert and chocolate demonstrations from Colicchio & Sons renowned pastry chef Stephen Collucci and master chocolatier Mehdi Chellaoui.

You'll also have the opportunity to win amazing door prices and to meet members of the C-CAP Junior Committee, and to learn how the non-profit organization helps underserved youth by exposing students to opportunities in the food and hospitality industries.

Feel free to leave comments with questions, and grab your ticket TODAY--I hope to see you there!!

xoxo

Alejandra
