Something about the chilly weather just makes me want to curl up with a good book or movie and a really good snack. Whether you crave things that are salty or sweet, read on for a few of my favorite homemade snacks!

1. Mini Kimchi Quesadillas
Salty, spicy, cheesy--these little quesadillas hit all the right notes. Get the recipe here.

2. Dark Mocha Molasses Snacking Cake
I love this rich chocolate cake. It's the perfect level of sweet, and so good sliced with a mug of tea. Perfect for a cozy night in! Get the recipe here.

3. Pig Candy Popcorn with Bacon & Chocolate
The name says it all, right? Fresh popcorn popped in bacon fat then tossed with crispy bacon and dark chocolate chips. Salty, sweet, and totally addictive in the best way possible.  Get the recipe here.

4. Hummus Cucumber Cups
This snack is healthy and refreshing, but still so totally satisfying. Get the recipe here.

5. Homemade Labneh (yogurt spread)
I LOVE this stuff. Yogurt that's thickened then whipped with a few seasonings. It's amazing on crackers, with pita bread, or even with veggies. Get the recipe here.

6. Baked Mozzarella
This is basically like pizza, without the crust. Little balls of mozzarella cheese, wrapped in prosciutto, then buried in your favorite jarred marinara sauce then baked until ooey and gooey. Add some wine and crusty bread, and you are set for days! Get the recipe here.

7. Gorgonzola, Candied Walnut & Apple Crostini
It's like all the best fall flavors in a single bite! Get the recipe here.

8. Roasted Pears with Maple Syrup Caramel
If you're craving something sweet, this is totally the way to go. Ripe pears baked in a simple butter and maple syrup sauce. I love this over yogurt anytime of day! Get the recipe.

9. Pop Bark! (Corn Nut Chocolate Bark)
Dark chocolate with salty crunch pop corn and popping sugar is like the perfect mix between salty snacks and candy. Get the recipe here.
